Delta Power Company is teaming up with Famic Technologies to make
its valve products available in an
Automation Studio Catalog - V1.0
Delta Power Company of Rockford, Illinois, a proficient designer and manufacturer of cutting-edge hydraulic products and systems, announced today a collaboration
with Famic Technologies Inc. of Montreal, Quebec, to create an Automation Studio catalog containing all of its valve product lines.
This new catalog will be integrated into Automation Studio, an innovative system design, simulation and project documentation solution for the creation and support of automation and fluid power systems. With more than 1000 of Delta Power’s valves, components and options, it will provide complete information about each product. This includes not only symbols and technical/commercial information, but mathematical modeling of their behaviour. The catalog will also offer components’ test files showing example of use, as well as the performance of these components during the simulation in Automation Studio compared to their technical specification sheet.
Chris Castelluccio, General Manager at Delta Power said: “Our products are extremely rugged and versatile. They are largely used in many applications including Agriculture, Construction, Medical and Industrial devices. Delta is known to perform outstandingly in the toughest and most demanding environments. The catalog we create with Famic Technologies will allow our customers to easily design hydraulic systems in Automation Studio using Delta Power
“The built-in functional simulation for each component in the catalog will demonstrate how Delta Power’s products will act in the system as well as their compatibility with the remaining system’s components. Our customers will gain a significant advantage by reducing their machine time-tomarket.
“Integrating our product lines into Automation Studio will make them accessible to a larger base of system designers who will appreciate their high quality and performance.”
Charbel Nasr, President of Famic Technologies, said, “The incorporation of Delta Power’s components into an Automation Studio catalog provides immediate simulations to verify different functions, further facilitating and quickening the development of systems using their products. This collaboration once again shows how Automation Studio is the best tool on the market to help reduce product development time by accelerating the design and prototyping stages, by facilitating maintenance and documentation and by allowing more flexible training”.
