Flexible PID Control
Automation Studio™ Proportional includes a PID controller that can be preset in any required fashion with configurable gain values. Furthermore, a transfer function can be easily implemented using the provided user-friendly keypad editor.
Configure Actuator Load and Force Profiles
All forces and loads applied to cylinders and motors can be determined as a function of the position. Users can therefore enter loading scenarios in accordance with the use and geometry of an equipment which will reflect real behavior during simulation. To add more flexibility, loads can be applied by variable at any time. The emulation of complex mechanical systems and unforeseen events becomes easily accessible without creating a burden on the designer.
Load Sensing Applications
Pressure feedback can be tapped anywhere in a circuit and used for control applications. Along with configurable loading of actuators, this feature can show real systems in action.

To complete the design of mobile applications, the library includes all the building blocks to create steering units. These can be controlled by the
provided set point generating devices.
Extended Valve Configuration Features
The list of parameters that can be determined for proportional valves is extensive, comprehensive, and requires minimal user intervention when dealing with complex systems. By opening the valve properties dialog box, users can determine the flow characteristics for each spool position. |
