Cannot Access to the Server

A number of problems will result in this error.

Make sure that the name or IP address of the server is correctly entered in the “Network Configuration” field of the “Key Information” window. (see figure below)

In order for the Automation Studio™ to function properly, between the server and the client workstation(s), it is important to respect the company restrictions regarding the IP addresses of the server and the client machines to have the same first two numbers (octets).  For example, Server: 172.16.10.2 and client machine: 172.16.1.100.
